Dummett Copp LLP - July 2010

Dummett Copp, has started the new financial year as a new legal entity - a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) – a change that creates a more modern business ready for the future.

As part of the process, Dummett Copp has used the opportunity to review its business processes and identified areas where improvements could be made.

However, the change in status retains the firm’s original name and allows us to build on the reputation established over many years since the business was started by the founding partners Peter Dummett and David Copp back in the early 1980’s.

The new structure offers more protection for individual partners, as the LLP becomes the legal entity responsible for the company’s activities. In the longer term, this will also benefit the firm’s clients and overseas associates by helping the firm to attract and retain the best professional staff.
