I joined Dummett Copp in 2018, and qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2022.
My practice involves all aspects of drafting and prosecuting patent and registered design applications. I act for a range of clients, and feel fortunate to be involved with a variety of technologies and industries. I particularly enjoy getting to know clients and talking directly with inventors and designers.
Prior to joining the patent profession, I completed a PhD in plant optics and photosynthesis from the University of Bristol, following an honours degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, where I studied a variety of science subjects. During my studies, I enjoyed the crossover between scientific disciplines, and the challenge of communicating new ideas, which pointed me towards a career as a patent attorney.
Away from the office, I have developed a mild obsession with triathlon and cycling (fortunately my wife has too!), but otherwise can be found cooking, or walking our poodle.
