Domain Names
It is important to remember that domain name registrations are not the same as trade mark registrations. Registration of a domain name does not give any rights to prevent somebody else registering a very similar name, or the same name with a different suffix. However if somebody else registers a domain name which includes your trade mark, and uses it in relation to a similar type of product or service, your trade mark rights may enable you to have their registration cancelled.
