Tiptree Strawberry Race July 2013

Dummett Copp took place in this year’s charity strawberry race at Tiptree, raising money for the Essex Air Ambulance. Our picker’s Alison Simons, Catherine Crowe, Leanne Robinson and Cary Gosden, competed against other fruit pickers to see who could collect as many strawberries in 60 minutes.

Well done to our team who picked an impressive 7.99kg of strawberries. Unfortunately despite their best efforts they did not win first place, but we are pleased to announce our picker’s won best dressed team and were presented each with a Hamper full of lovely Tiptree jam.
